They have received their Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) Safe Quality Foods Registration Certificate for “SQF 2000 Code ~ A HACCP- Based Supplier Assurance Code for the Food Manufacturing and Distributing Industries” Level 3: Comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Management System. Their Scope of Registration (Food Categories) is 15; Canning, UHT and Aseptic Operations for Apple Cider, Lemonades and Teas.

Zeigler’s is unique in that they decided to implement Level 3 requirements from the beginning rather than Level 2 Food Safety requirements first and then upgrading their system to include the additional Level 3 Quality Management System requirements at a later time. This shows not only their commitment to providing Safe Quality Foods but also to the Quality Management System additional requirements as well.

The SQF 2000 Code is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) as a standard that meets its benchmark requirements. Level 3 exceeds the GFSI benchmark documents.
